About the Artists

On Baffin Island, Nunavut, the artists of Cape Dorset have been making limited-edition original prints since 1959. Diverse media are available to the printmakers—etching and aquatint, woodcut, copper engraving—but the Kinngait Studios’ mainstays are stonecut, stencil, and lithography.
