Richard Shorty is a self-taught from Whitehorse. He belongs to the Northern Tutchone People and his crest is the crow. Richard was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in 1959. He originally started painting wildlife at an early age along with painting his favorite rock star or sports idol.
