This elegant shawl evokes an early example of the geometric mode of painting that Piet Mondrian (Dutch, 1872–1944) called Neo-Plasticism. In this work the artist used thick black lines to divide the canvas into 11 rectangles, some of which he painted in primary colours. Drape it around your shoulders during cool fall outings or loop it multiple times around your neck to bundle up and keep warm.
